Get involved: Solidarity is our weapon!
Here you'll find all the information you need to support the FAU Berlin. In addition to your own ideas, you can help us by:

• carrying out protest actions in front of German diplomatic missions (embassies, consulates) or other institutions that represent the German state;
• sending protest letters to German embassies in your country, including a CC (if sent by email) or copy (if sent by post) to the management of the Babylon Mitte cinema;
• sending a protest email to the German Foreign office;
• joining our supporter list.
• Sign the Solidarity Committee petition

Here you find a list of German diplomatic missions. Look if there is an embassy or consulate in your city. This file also includes information on how to contact the embassy in your country. The listed country names are given in German. If you don't understand German, here is a table to find out your country's name in German.

Protest letter for German embassies

Here is a German template for protest letters (engl. translation) you can direct to the German embassy. To find an embassy address in your area see the section above. And don't forget to send a copy of your letter to the Babylon's management.

Protest letter for German Foreign Office

Here is a form to send a prepared protest mail to the German Foreign Office in Berlin. Your informations will be inserted into a form of the website of the german Foreign Office and send to them.

Join our supporter list

Our supporter list has gotten quite long, but there's always room for more. It's a great way to show our foes that we don't stand alone. We will try to keep those on list up to date and alert them when we need solidarity. Just send an email to faub-soli(a)fau.org to join up.

Sign the Solidarity Committee's appeal for union freedoms in Germany

A solidarity committee has been formed by labour activists and left-wing unionists which calls for the FAU Berlin to be recognized as a union. They issued an appeal and are collecting signatures. Labour organisations and unions and their members both national and international are especially encouraged to sign. Please send an email to koalitionsfreiheit (a) googlegroups.com to sign.
